Scholar Keeper, Inc.
(SKI) is a
Georgia Non-Profit Corporation registered in Dekalb County
Georgia since June 2003. SKI was originally organized to provide
computer education resources to minority/low income families by
an instructor led classes. Additionally, SKI set out to also
provide continuing education for minority/low income families
who have lost jobs; tutoring to minority/low income students;
computer education to senior citizens; job outsourcing help and
resume writing skills to minority/low income families; computer
training classes to minority/small businesses; computer
consultation to minority/small businesses and minority/low
income families; provide the service of minor repairs and
upgrades to computers to minority/small businesses and
minority/low income families; and provide computer certification
courses to minority/small businesses and minority/low income
families. We also want to start an annual/monthly computer
giveaway to a low income family along with computer skills
training. While these goals are still very much a part of SKI,
we have witnessed the needs of the community change and
therefore; we have chosen to re-prioritize our goals and
objectives. Our goals for 2007 and beyond are to:
- Provide
coats to our homeless citizens.
- Provide
food when our neighbors are hungry.
- Provide
training of all kinds to those seeking to better their
situations.
- Implement an
annual personal computer giveaway
